Rebecca Loos recently accused David Beckham of playing the "victim card" while talking about their alleged relationship in his new Netflix doc, "Beckham."
"I understand he has an image to maintain, but he's portraying himself as a victim and making me look like a liar, like I made these stories up," Loos, Beckham's former assistant, told the Daily Mail. . "He needs to take responsibility."
Rebecca Loos, now 46, claimed in a 2004 interview that she and Beckham, when he went from Manchester United in England to Real Madrid in Spain, had had an affair behind the back of his wife, Victoria Beckham.
David denied any allegations of infidelity and moved on with his life, but behind closed doors, their marriage was facing many difficulties.
Rebecca points out that she felt that indirectly, David was implying that she was the one who "made Victoria suffer."
"Yes, the stories were terrible, but they are true," she told the Daily Mail. "I think it's one thing to keep your private life to yourself and it's another thing to deceive the public."
Loos, who now lives in Norway, said the only reason she is speaking out against the documentary is because she feels she needs to defend herself.
"I also have a family and I also have children and they also have Google and they can also watch documentaries," she said.
She has two sons with Norwegian doctor Sven Christjar Skaiaa, whom she married in 2012.
As for the Beckhams, they have been married for 24 years and have four children: Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12.
