Britney Spears is telling all the details of her life in the autobiographical book "The Woman in Me". Among other things, she revealed that when she married childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004, she was very drunk.

Britney also said that she and Alexander got married because "they were fat", not because they were in love.

She said that she didn't take marriage too seriously at first, but her family did. They made sure she knew how disappointed they were about her decision.
"They made it too big, when it was innocent fun. Everyone has a different perspective on this, but I didn't take it too seriously. I thought a Vegas wedding was something people did for fun."
He continued: “Then my family came and pretended that World War III had started. I cried the whole time I was in Las Vegas.
She also explained that her family's anger at the situation made her realize how much they wanted to control her. Brit says that it was very important for the family to keep him under control.
Back to the Las Vegas wedding, it was called off and Brit and Alexander went in different directions, until he tried to crash their 2022 wedding to ex-husband Sam Asghari.
Alexander, on the day of the wedding, broadcast a live video from his Instagram account. Walking around what appeared to be a mostly empty but decorated house and gardens, he repeatedly told followers that Spears had invited him.
"She's my first wife, my only wife," said Alexander, who was briefly married to Spears — his childhood friend — in 2004. Authorities immediately detained and arrested him at the venue. .
