It is said that the 'mutual friend' that introduced Bradley Cooper to Gigi Hadid was precisely the ex of the actor, Irina Shayk.
According to a source to The Messenger: “Gigi was introduced to Bradley through Irina and her friends in the industry. Gigi and Irina have been close over the years they've worked together and the 28-year-old model and 48-year-old actor have dated before but have always maintained a friendly relationship. Gigi and Bradley have kept in touch recently."
Further, he added:
"He hung up on her and she was interested and happy about it. They date each other, but the relationship is still in its infancy, so it is not serious. Gigi has expressed that she does not want a serious relationship. They have a lot in common, especially because they are both famous parents."
Another source previously told ET that Gigi is interested in acting and is intrigued by Bradley and will see the prospect and take lessons from him.
But what does Irina think about their relationship? A source told ET that Shayk doesn't mind because the relationship between the 48-year-old actor and the 28-year-old model isn't serious. "Everyone is open to moving forward with other partners."
Cooper and Shayk, although they split in 2019, still, for the sake of their 6-year-old daughter, Lea, stay in touch, especially during the summer holidays. In 2022, there were rumors that he and Irina were back together, even thinking about expanding the family.
