Swifties are attacking Olivia Wilde after the actress posted a tweet about Taylor Swift's new relationship with football player Travis Kelce.
"I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist," read the post, which has caused the singer's fans to lash out at Olivia.
"And why did you hook up with Harry Styles then?" one quipped, referring to the actress' previous relationship with Styles, also Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend. "When you and Harry Styles were in a relationship we didn't see the ozone layer improve," said another.
The author of the post, "Westword" actress Katja Herbers, further explained on her X page (formerly Twitter) what she meant by her message.
"Taylor would join her scientist at a rally on fossil fuels and the world would be saved," she wrote, referring to the singer's influence on people.
One user pointed out that the original post was "obviously" a joke, writing: "The point was that no one is doing anything about the environment.
But apparently, Taylor's fans didn't get the message.
