Audiobooks are a great way to enjoy your favorite publications while you're relaxing, or doing housework, but you just don't feel like reading. There are many audiobooks circulating online through reputable sources, but many require a monthly fee or subscription for you to access.
To overcome these audiobook barriers, Project Gutenberg and Microsoft have created thousands of free audiobooks that use text-to-speech technology to generate voices.
The neural function TTS (neural network that converts a sequence of phonemes, linguistic units into sound) uses AI (artificial intelligence) to generate natural-sounding speech that matches the emotions of human voices. This option allows the audiobook developer to select a specific voice and change the pronunciation, timbre, pace, pauses, and intonation to create a more pleasing tone for the narration.

Another challenge with audiobooks is that they can take hundreds of hours to create, edit, and publish the various texts. Working with Microsoft AI, Project Gutenberg was able to cut this time by automatically producing high-quality audiobooks compared to existing online e-books.

The books are all in the public domain, which means you'll mostly find classic works by authors like William Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Edith Wharton, Leo Tolstoy, TS Eliot, and more.
Books in the Albanian language are not yet available in this project, but you can listen to them in the foreign language you know best.
