In March 2020, when the whole world was in isolation due to the coronavirus, a masked person entered the Singer Laren museum in the Netherlands, breaking the windows with a hammer and leaving with an extraordinary painting worth millions of euros.
"The Spring Garden of the Nuenen Family", painted in 1884 by Van Gogh, was stolen in the middle of the night, but Dutch detective Arthur Brand spent years tracking down one of the world's greatest masterpieces. But it wasn't until Monday that the stolen painting was returned stuffed in an Ikea bag, The New York Times reported.

In a video posted on Instagram, Detective Arthur Brand presents this restored masterpiece. "The Spring Garden by Vincent van Gogh was stolen three and a half years ago on the painter's birthday from a museum in the Netherlands...Here it is! We've been looking for it for years," he said.
The painting, worth an estimated $3.2 million to $6.4 million, was delivered to Brandi by an unknown man in a blue Ikea bag. "Finally, it's here, it's back," Brand said, announcing that he would return the masterpiece to museum director Singer Laren.
"A great day for all Van Gogh admirers around the world," he concludes the account of the rediscovered work of the famous painter.
