After nearly seven years together and four years of marriage, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are separating. Joe has officially filed for divorce amid rumors of a split, according to multiple media outlets.
According to Today.com, the outlet "has exclusively obtained the divorce filing filed by Joe Jonas on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in Miami, Dade County, Florida."
According to the documents, "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken."
It says Joe and Sophie had a prenuptial agreement and their two children have stayed with Joe, but "it is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibilities."
Sources told Page Six that Jonas tried to "save" his four-year marriage to Sophie before filing for divorce. According to the same source, Joe "didn't want to break up the family", but "an unhappy home is not a home".
“She loves to party; he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles,” a source told TMZ.
So far, Joe and Sophie have not said anything publicly about the split.
They have two children together. In 2020, they became parents to daughter Willa, while the second daughter, whose name is not known, was born in July 2022.
