The verses "I've given you everything, but today you're (again) alone" have sparked debate and started a public drama between Dafina, Sara and Ledri.
Recently, Sara stated that Ledri was the one who wrote (the first) verse and Elgit Doda reacted to this, who also produced the respective songs, "E keni dit", a collaboration between Ledri, Romeo and Klementi and "Like me", Dafina ft. Elgit.
Through a post on Instastory, Elgiti says:
"I have over 10 years in this music market of ours. I made many songs and many lyrics. Today I want to talk about a case that happened this summer; it is about 2 songs produced by me. "E keni dit", Romeo, Ledri and Klementi and "Si mua", Dafina's song and mine".
Further, it continued:
"First of all, I want to say that my song with Dafina has been produced for over 1 year with lyrics and music, while the other song, "E keni dit", was finalized this summer and most of the melodic lines and some parts of the lyrics are done by me and unintentionally, I may have repeated that part of the text that is making a media noise today that I see more as marketing to take advantage of the moment, nothing more".
"I bear full responsibility because I am the one who wrote those 2 parts of the text and I apologize publicly for this thing done unintentionally. Thank you", he concluded.
The similarity of the texts is:
"You know"
I have given them all
I've given you everything, but boy, leave me alone (Oh-oh-oh)
"Like me"
Because I gave you everything, you gave me everything
But today again alone
Apparently, they are the same verses and Ledri also pointed this out, commenting on Dafina's post. For the rest of the story, click here .
