Sources say he has moved out of their home. Even months ago it was reported that there was trouble between them. Sam didn't sleep much at home and there were rumors that Britney got into physical fights with him in frequent shouting matches.
The singer has a prenuptial agreement that protects her assets, but an insider tells TMZ that the potential end of the marriage will be a check from Britney to Sam that will settle things, at least financially.
Sam has publicly defended Britney from critics, but privately it is said that he is tired of her behavior, often considered "disorderly".
The divorce papers have not been finalized yet, but the proceedings are likely to begin soon.
Neither has publicly commented on the split. They met in 2016 and married in June 2022.
