Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari have split after a year of marriage and seven years of dating, reports TMZ. Multiple sources confirmed the split to People.
TMZ's sources said the breakup came about because of Sam's allegations against Britney Spears, according to which he confronted the singer about a week ago about rumors that she had been unfaithful to him.
Asghari believed the rumours, but it is unclear whether they are true or not.
Sources told TMZ that Spears' behavior had been erratic and Sam found it impossible to deal with her anymore.
Neither has publicly commented on the split.
They met in 2016 and married in June 2022.
