In this light wave of Covid infections that has also affected Albania, the most vulnerable are children. This is confirmed by doctors in several health centers in the capital, but the director of the Pediatrics ward at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, Gjeorgjina Kule.
Contacted directly by Anabel, the doctor stated that: "There are currently two children hospitalized with Covid in Pediatrics. The situation with the number of hospitalizations in this period is not at alarming levels, but caution should not be forgotten because Covid has not disappeared. Parents should be sensitized that if their child has the clinical signs of a normal virus, but which lasts for several days, they should go to a specialist doctor for further examinations".
Doctors call for caution in observing hygiene measures, since with the approach of autumn there is an overlap of seasonal viruses that are circulating in mass during this period.
