Madonna has been forced to suspend her tour due to a severe bacterial infection, which led to a several-day stay in hospital. Afterwards, Madonna was released from the hospital, but was still receiving proper care and rest.
The music diva made a reaction yesterday, showing all the gratitude towards the love and prayers of the fans, as well as her health condition:
"Thank you for your positive energy, prayers, healing and encouraging words. I have felt your love. I am on the road to recovery and extremely grateful for all the blessings I have in life."
Further, he added:
"My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was (about) my children. The second thought was that I didn't want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn't want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the past few months to create my show. I hate to let anyone down. My focus at the moment is health, getting stronger and I assure you that I will be back as soon as possible".
Madonna indicated that she would plan the tour again in America and then, she will be in Europe in October.
The 35-city tour around the world is supposed to be a retrospective for the 64-year-old singer, dedicated to her music over the past four decades.
