Kanye West is facing a new lawsuit over unsafe conditions at his Donda academy, including claims that the school had no glass in the window frames.
Isaiah Meadows — who was a former teacher at the private Christian school — filed a lawsuit Thursday alleging violations of the contract and multiple education, health, safety and labor codes.
"In the middle of the main classroom, a window was left unglazed, inevitably allowing the rain to fall directly inside, where the water seeped into the floor, which would lead to a musty smell for days to come."
"Part of the roof was intentionally glassless because West expressed his distaste for glass," the lawsuit alleges.
Meadows also claimed that, despite being in the middle of a global pandemic, Donda Academy did not have "warm water to effectively wash hands or other items which then created serious sanitation problems".
West founded the unaccredited private school in California in 2022. According to the school's website, its mission was to "provide young people with the passion, purpose and spiritual foundations they need to thrive in the world of tomorrow." .
