The Fashion Week appearance follows her split from ex Gerard Piqué.
The coat is part of the Fall/Winter 2008 collection and is embellished with gold thread and white crystal detailing.
Fans began speculating about the possible symbolism behind her outfit.
"Maybe this means it's a good time to listen to Shakira's epic 'No,'" one follower suggested.
