Neymar took to social media to publicly apologize to his pregnant girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi.
The PSG and Brazil forward posted a lengthy statement on Instagram. The 31-year-old, who also has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, called Bruna a "woman who dreams" after what he calls "mistakes".
The footballer and Bruna were the center of a theory on the Internet, according to which it was said that Neymar cheated on Bruna. According to the theory, the footballer cheated on Bruna with an influencer from São Paulo and was in constant contact with her.

I do this for you and your family. To justify the unjust was not necessary, but I need you in my life. I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered through all this and how much you want to be near me. And I by your side." - writes Neymar.
"I risk saying that I fail every day, on and off the field. It's just that I resolve my mistakes in my personal life at home, in my intimacy with my family and friends. All this struck one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of walking beside me, the mother of my child. I touched you in such a special moment, as motherhood," he then adds.
The footballer, who does not specify what it is about specifically, publicly apologizes.
"Bru, I have already apologized for my mistakes, for the unnecessary exposure, but I feel compelled to say this publicly. If a private matter has been made public, the apology must be made public. I can't imagine myself without you. I don't know if it will work, but TODAY I'm sure I want to try.”
“Our purpose will prevail, our love for our child will win, our love for each other will strengthen us. Forever us," concludes Neymar.
Their relationship has not been smooth from the start. In August 2022, Bruna and Neymar announced to fans that they had ended their relationship, following their engagement. At the time, it was said that the 27-year-old broke up with Neymar because the latter had betrayed her, but she denied the allusions.
Then, for Neymar's birthday, Bruna posted a photo album, where she also wrote the congratulations for the football star: "Happy birthday beautiful. I told you all today," she wrote and wished him a fantastic year of blessings, holidays, friends, achievements, goals and health. "I wish that God will protect our relationship".
In April of this year, they announced that they are expecting a baby.
