A "Hercules" plane is inspecting and checking the area in which the submarine disappeared with tourists who were being sent to see the wreck of the Titanic. The news was announced by the Pentagon, after numerous unsuccessful attempts.
The tourist submarine made various expeditions to the wreck of the Titanic, which is located 3,800 meters below the ocean floor, but something went wrong and it disappeared along with the tourists on board, without leaving a trace.
On board the submarine were 5 people: the well-known entrepreneur Shahzada Dawood, his son, Suleman, the British businessman and explorer, Hamish Harding, the diver Paul-Henry Nargeolet, as well as the CEO of "OceanGate".
Since Sunday, an intensive search has been underway to find the missing. The submarine provides oxygen for up to 96 hours for the people on board and while the people on board still have 40 hours of oxygen left, the searches are getting more numerous.
According to US officials, the search for the submarine is very complicated and that rescue teams are fighting against time.
