Kim spoke on the podcast "On Purpose with Jay Shetty" and confessed how being a single mother has changed her life. She has 4 children (North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm) with her ex-husband, Kanye West.
"Everyone says that the days are long and the years are short, and it's more than true. When they're babies and you feed them…it's crazy. It's totally crazy. But it's the best chaos", adding that one moment she has to fix her daughter's hair, the next she has to put on other children's shoes, run everywhere and cook.

But he added that parenthood has taught him many things, especially about himself. "It was the most challenging thing. There are nights when I cry until I fall asleep."
Kim emphasized that her children have different moods and personalities, and sometimes, when they fight, it's up to her to decide.
"It's like playing 'good cop/bad cop.' Parenting is very difficult. That's the only way I can explain it. It is the most rewarding job in the whole world. Nothing prepares you for it, no matter how long you wait. You can never be prepared."
According to her, the only way is to find out for yourself and when you do, you will feel proud of yourself.
