"Megan is Missing," a psychological horror film, went viral on TikTok and people started calling for it to be blocked. The film contains scenes so gruesome that New Zealand banned its broadcast months ago.
Although "Megan is Missing" was first released in 2011, it shocked fans again recently after it went viral on TikTok. Viewers were left so shocked and scared that the film's director, Michael Goi, advised people not to watch the film at night.
The subject of events is based on the story of two close friends, Megan Stewart (Rachel Quinn) and Amy Herman (Amber Perkins) who lead a normal teenage life. Suddenly, Megan disappears after talking to someone online.
People are shocked by shocking scenes with disturbing content and sexual violence. The director warned anyone who wanted to see the film:
"Don't watch the movie at night. Don't see it alone. If you see the words 'Picture Number One' appear on the screen, you have about 4 seconds to close the movie before you see things you probably won't."
Several people have appealed on TikTok saying: "If you are afraid of such films or are under 18, please watch the film during the day and don't watch it alone." "I just saw it. I want to cry,” wrote another.
