Elon Musk said he will step down from leading Twitter and that Linda Yaccarino, the former advertising director at NBCUniversal, will take over.
"I look forward to working with Linda to transform the platform into X, the app (that will have) everything," he tweeted.
Musk bought Twitter last year for $44 billion and has previously mentioned the fact that he would step down as CEO when he found another person to take his place.
Linda Yaccarino is expected to bring a new spirit to Twitter, considering her 12 years of experience.
