Ariana Grande's fans have been concerned about her weight and of course, have commented on it. Therefore, the singer has chosen to make a video on TikTok and clarify once and for all how things are.
"The (past) body you compared my current body to is the most unhealthy version. I had been on a lot of anti-depressants and was eating little. I was at the lowest point of my life and I looked in the way that you describe as 'healthy', but in fact, I was not healthy".
She continued:
"I know I don't have to explain this", she emphasized, adding that she is being open with the public, as she hopes that this will serve to teach a good lesson. The singer underlined that "health can look different", because in fact, there is no set model of what someone should look like to be called "healthy".
Ariana reminded fans and followers of the importance of kindness, saying, “You never know what someone is going through. So, be nice to each other and to yourself."
"I think you are beautiful. It doesn't matter what you're going through, it doesn't matter your weight, it doesn't matter how you do your makeup these days, it doesn't matter what cosmetic procedures you've done or even if you haven't done anything," she concluded the video.
Ariana's fans started commenting on her photos on social networks, noting her weight loss and describing her as "very thin" and worrying about her health.
Grande has been open about her struggles with anxiety and depression. In 2019, she also made a post on Instagram, where she announced that these were the reasons why she was forced to cancel some shows.
