Actress Scarlett Johansson is the mother of two children and has spoken about the experience of raising them, especially about the difficulties she encountered during the period when her daughter, Rose, now 8 years old, was still small.
"It's like being in an emotionally abusive relationship," joked Scarlett, adding, "It's very difficult. I remember my daughter when she was 2 years old and I was like, 'This is all fantastic! I don't understand what other people are talking about,' and then she went 3 and it was like experiencing an emotionally abusive relationship," Scarlett said.
She continued: "It is very intense! There are very intense emotional changes and it's crazy", but on the other hand, he emphasized that even though children are a real challenge, still, it's adorable to have a baby.
“They are so cute. They sit there, they love you and that's it. And it seems like that's all it takes, their love."
She also talked about her career and how she set new priorities. "I usually work 15 hours a day and if I work on something, I have to move everyone and for the kids, it's an adventure. But they also need stability. So, now that the girl is grown, I no longer work in the same way as I did when I was 25 years old," said Scarlett.
The actress is mother to Rose, 8, whom she co-parents with her ex, Romain Dauriac, and also, along with current partner Colin Jost, welcomed a son named Cosmo last year.
