Priyanka Chopra opened up about her decision to freeze her eggs in her early 30s and said she encourages all the women she knows to do the same.
“I did it when I was in my early 30s. I wanted to get to a certain place in my career. Also, I had not yet met the person with whom I wanted to have children", said the actress, adding that this period caused her anxiety and that she made the decision when she was 35 years old.
She said she tells everyone to freeze eggs and if possible, do it multiple times.
"I tell my younger friends that the biological clock is real. After 35, it becomes more difficult to get pregnant, especially for women who have worked all their lives. (Egg freezing) is the best gift you can give yourself, because it takes your power back from the biological clock and you can work as long as you want. Your eggs will be the same age as you were when you froze them," she concluded.
Priyanka is mother to a daughter, Malti Marie, with husband, Nick Jonas. The girl was born in January 2022, through a surrogate mother.
