Lady Gaga performed on the grand stage of the Oscars 2023 her song, "Hold My Hand", dressed quite simply, in a T-shirt, black jeans, ripped at the knee, sneakers and no makeup. Her presence inspired people, while the singer once again amazed the audience with her vocals.
Gaga's decision to perform without makeup was a revolution, which stripped the artist of "perfection". Her message was clear: "I think we need each other. We need a lot of love to keep going in life. Sometimes, we all need it once in a while. But, you can understand that you are the hero yourself, even if you are broken inside", said Lady Gaga.

People on Twitter praised her performance and of course, the decision to appear so casually at a grand event like the Oscars. "She took off her makeup, put on a t-shirt, jeans, Converse sneakers and gave the best performance at the Oscars," someone wrote. Gaga graced the 2023 Oscars carpet in a stunning dress designed by Versace for the Fall-Winter 2023 show. She completed the look with a diamond pendant.
