It is claimed that Lori Hoxha reacted through an Instastory published on close friends, responding to the journalist Sonila Meço, who called the residents (and the public) "cavies" of the "BBVA" production.
Sonila took to Instagram and wrote:
“Kavie, kavie, kavie….Grown up enough to be considered victims, heavily provoked to scream morality in their faces, abused to court them, included with their consent to be manipulated, in a media laboratory, where the rules change arbitrarily, where the game is consciously confused with real life, according to the needs of the audience, where the goal justifies the means, the visibility the scandal, the spectacle the politics, the morality the injustice and the confession room justifies the balance of power. Where love is stimulated at all costs for play and play leads to love being scrapped. Where they lead to a kiss without grace, to use that same grace to produce "violence". Where survival is ensured only by intrigue, but they "kill" you with pathetic speeches about humanity".
Sonila also added her opinion about the public:
"And in the end, the big losers are the guinea pigs outside the lab who expect justice from a game, on a private, scripted TV, sponsors, and staggering profits from their involvement. The guinea pig in and the guinea pig out...Big Brother in and Boss in Big out...", Sonila wrote.
Lori reportedly gave this reaction:
"You mean that (that) cool group(s) at (the) school, which with its good, with its bad, is still cool and you basically resent them, but if they would invite you to eat lunch with them, you would leave your childhood friends in the mud, just to sit with them for once? Yeh, kavie, all, little by little".
Since the photo came to Anabel's editorial office as a screenshot from Lori Hoxha's close friends' Instastory, we contacted her to get an answer on the authenticity of the post. Lori gave us this answer: "As you may know, I prefer not to get involved publicly in any scenario or debate, so I will do so again this time, but anyway, I want to thank you for considering me and trying to do the job decently as journalists. Good day!".
