"Communication is the best way to find out how compatible you are sexually," sex expert Goody Howard told Healthline.
Regardless of the stage of the relationship, there are a number of questions that will tell you more about your partner's sexual desires as well as details that can help you understand whether or not you are a match at this point.
According to her, these questions will help you communicate:
1. What is the favorite sexual act you have tried?
2. What are the sexual acts that we do and would you like to do a little less?
3. What's something you've wanted to try with me but were too embarrassed to tell me?
4. How do you feel about our sexual relations?
5. What is your favorite time of day to have sex with me? Why?
