More than 3,000 people have been killed as a result of the earthquake that struck central Turkey and northwestern Syria. Experts have described it as one of the most powerful earthquakes in the region in at least a century. A second strong tremor was felt 12 hours later from the first earthquake.
Currently, there is said to be a decline in striking power, although slight swings may continue.
Asked by "Abc News" if our country is at risk, seismologist Edmond Dushi says that "Albania is a country with seismic activity", but "the country is not at risk from the earthquake of Turkey, because Albania is not on the same tectonic plate" .
