After singing for a few moments, a teary-eyed Adele dedicated her performance to a man standing in the crowd and later said: "When I was walking through the crowd, I saw something that I want you to see too. . I saw a man, who is there, holding the phone above. I think it was his wife on the screen and it touched me a lot", said the artist.
She assumed that his wife had passed away, so she added: "I'm so sorry for your loss and I didn't know you were showing her the performance until I came up here," Adele said through tears.
