Gigi Hadid has shared what it's like to be a mother to 2-year-old Khai, her little daughter with ex-partner Zayn Malik.
The model has shared private details about her life with the little girl and her daily routine. Gigi said that she wakes up when Khai falls asleep and they prepare breakfast together.
"Whenever Khai falls asleep, I wake up too," said Gigi. “Usually around 7:30-8:30. I have a typical mom routine. I eat whatever Khai eats. I make pancakes and sausage every day. For Christmas, she asked me what I was going to get Santa, and I told her I wanted a new pancake pan. I ordered a cute pan myself, where each circle is in the shape of an animal, so now we can have pancakes in the shape of a lion, or in the shape of a llama. It's a lot of fun," said the model.
As for physical activity, Gigi added that she runs after Khai. "We walk a lot. We do yoga together. Carrying him in my arms, running all day and going out to the park, I also move."
Gigi is known to be quite a private person when it comes to her daughter. She has chosen not to show the baby's portrait and has always avoided the topic of Khai's co-parenting with her ex-boyfriend, Zayn Malik. The pair had a long, on-and-off relationship and ended it in October 2021, a year after Khai was born.
According to news reports at the time, Zayn got into an argument with Gigi's mom, Yolanda, and shot her. Zayn categorically denied the allegations and since then there has never been any talk about the real reason for the breakup. However, they maintain good relations and mutual respect for each other.
