Katy was the one that got away. Katy Perry revealed what she regrets most in life and it has to do with missing out on an opportunity to collaborate with Billie Eilish.
The 'California Gurls' star said he had the chance to collaborate with Eilish on her hit single 'Ocean Eyes' - but turned it down as he thought the song was 'boring'.
In a TikTok video posted by 102.7 KIIS FM, the 38-year-old told a group of fans about the collaboration that could have happened.
Perry stated that she received an email from someone who said, "Hey, check out this new artist. I'd love for us to work with her because she was working with me for Unsub [Records]."
At the time, Eilish was not a household name. "It was a song called 'Ocean Eyes' and it was just a blonde girl," Perry revealed. And I was like, 'Meh, boring.'"
Katy later admitted it was a "big mistake, big mistake" to turn down the offer. "Ocean Eyes" became one of Eilish's most popular songs and turned her into a global star.

However, their relationship is good, as shown in Billie's 2021 documentary, “Billie Eilish: The world's A Little Blurry.”
