There is (normally) a lot of hair in your hairbrush, but with it also dandruff, sebum and other impurities.
This is the sign you were looking for to wash the combs and we are showing you step by step how:
First, use a comb to gently remove clumps of hair.
After removing excess hair, place the comb in a bowl of warm water. For more cleaning power, you can add a teaspoon of baking soda or white vinegar to the mixture.
- Rinse it by swirling it in a bowl of clean water.
- Let the comb air dry with the bristles facing down.
If your comb is made of wood, the soaking and scrubbing method can damage it. Therefore in this case, you can apply a small amount of shampoo to the brush, rinse it with a little water and start cleaning it with a clean cloth.
ps: It is recommended to clean the comb once a week.
