In a conversation on the radio show "Ndryshe", with Salsano Rapi and Adi Pojana, producer Dalina Buzi discussed, among other things, the characters of "Big Brother VIP Albania" as television phenomena and everything that comes after.
Dalina was asked why some different characters – in other words, people with no outstanding contribution to society and who would hardly be called VIPs – are considered as such.
"The moment you get 400,000 followers, you become a character," she said. "The moment they stop you on the street, you are a character. Even the audience itself makes you a character. Television sells the character, which is also influenced by the public. This is the era of characters.”
In the following, the conversation stopped at characters like Tea and the phenomenon of quick fame (we remember the followers that were added to Tea after the 'Për'Puthen' scandal ) and criticism of her on social networks.
"Tea is one of those people that I can't analyze at all; I don't know who it is. To me it's a TV mistake because it had no identity. It was created on 'Për'Puthen' and just feel it, she didn't talk during 'Për'Puthen' or during [the time when she was a moderator on] 'Goca & Gra' she didn't talk. Then he comes to 'Big Brother' and shouts," said Buzi.
"The people, Albanians and everywhere in the world, do not forget you. You can't pretend with the people. If you look at TikTok now, those people who pretend to be someone else, on TikTok they've been ripped apart and told 'be careful, because you said that in 1982'. These things should not be done, but these characters should not dare [to do the opposite of what they are] because [the people remember].”
In Tea's case, people on social media brought up the Për'Puthen scandal - when Tea dated Andi but was in a relationship with another contestant, Bearti - as she was outraged by Luiz's lie about the illness . "At least don't talk, you who deceived a whole people," was one of the most used sentences in people's criticism of Teas.
Following the conversation, Buzi emphasized that it is very important not to lie to the public.
"That's why people should be true from the beginning to the end of life," she concluded.
