Janelle Monáe combined two major fashion trends with her look at the Critics' Choice Awards. The "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" star attended the Jan. 15 awards show in a Vera Wang gown with bold cutouts on each side of the shades, creating a crescent shape. The dress was made of tulle and left room for the imagination, but you can choose a "nude" (beige) version if you don't prefer to be too exposed.
Monáe styled the dress with black leather platform heels, drop earrings and a large diamond ring.
The actress' glamorous look was the center of attention when she took the stage to accept the SeeHer award, which honors "a woman who champions gender equality, portrays characters with authenticity, challenges stereotypes and pushes boundaries," according to critics.
Monáe was also nominated for best supporting actress for her role in the sequel "Knives Out," and the Netflix film is in the running for best acting, best comedy and best picture.
Anyway, back to the dress. Take a look at the model and save it because you will surely need it in case you have special events where you want to shine.
