Prince Harry strongly accuses Camilla: 'Dangerous'

Prince Harry has continued with his statements, as if the publication of the autobiographical book, "Spare", was not enough. In two interviews with the British and American networks ITV and CBS, the Duke of Sussex spoke, among other things, about Camilla, the wife of King Charles.

Speaking to CBS' 60 Minutes on Sunday, Prince Harry accused Camilla, the Queen Consort, of leaking stories about the family to the British media as part of her campaign to "rehabilitate " her image.

The prince said he and his brother, Prince William, had asked the king not to marry Camilla. "We didn't think it was necessary. We thought it would cause more harm than good and if he was with her, that was certainly enough,” he said. Later, both brothers agreed to the marriage. "We wanted him to be happy. And we saw how happy he was with her."

However, the Duke of Sussex added that Camilla was "dangerous" because she had been branded a "bad character" by the press for her role in the breakdown of his parents' marriage and needed to "fix her image".

"That made him dangerous because of the connections he was making within the British press," he added. Harry explained:

"If you are led to believe, as a family member, that being on the front page, having positive headlines, positive stories written about you, will improve your reputation or increase your chances of being accepted as a monarch by the public British, then that's what you're going to do.”

Camilla married Prince Charles in 2005, eight years after the death of his first wife, Diana, Princess of Wales. The two had been romantically involved for decades, and Diana once referred to Camilla as the third person in their marriage.
