If you are considering moving to a new country, Europe offers several options. For the third time in the last five years, Vienna took first place in the Global Liveability Index 2022, the annual report published by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).
Copenhagen follows Vienna in second place, followed by Zurich in third place along with Calgary in Canada.
The report identifies the challenges an individual may face in any given location and then compares the results between locations. Each city was analyzed based on 30 factors in five general categories: stability, health care, culture and environment, education and infrastructure.
The top 10 was dominated by European cities, which make up half of the list.

2. Copenhagen
3. Zurich
3. Calgary
5. Vancouver
6. Geneva
7. Frankfurt
8. Toronto
