Kim was a guest on Angie Martinez's podcast and talked about a concern she feels about forming romantic relationships, as she thinks her "future boyfriends" will be scared off by Kanye West.
"Part of me thinks, 'Oh, my God, everyone's going to freak out because I don't have the easiest ex (referring to the inappropriate behavior and statements Kanye has made toward Kim's ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson).
"I don't think it's fair to put someone young who is super innocent in such a situation," continued the 42-year-old star. "Then another part of me says, 'Why do I have to experience this?'
However, Kim said that although she does not think of remarrying, she will have a lifelong partner. "I'm at peace and I'm having fun until it happens," she said.
Kim also spoke through tears about the difficult co-parenting with the rapper.
Kanye and Kim have been married for 7 years, until Kim filed for divorce. They have been involved in numerous situations and statements, and Kanye, both publicly and privately, has tried to win back his ex-wife, but without success. Kim has spoken several times about her complicated relationship with Kanye, with whom she has 4 children: North (9 years old), Saint (7 years old), Chicago (4 years old) and Psalm (3 years old).
