This month, Google released its annual "Year in Search" list to show which terms saw an increase in searches compared to last year.
One important topic is conspicuously absent this year: Covid-19. Last year, vaccination and infection prevention were of high interest, but this year there is no mention of the coronavirus in the top health and wellness searches.
This year's research focused on physical and mental recovery – how to become physically stronger and how to deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and OCD .
Bodyweight workouts," "weekly workouts," "mental health workouts," and "core gym workouts" were also in high demand.
Google users asked "how to deal with stress," "how to stop a panic attack," "how to cure depression," and "focus when you have ADHD."
They also looked into mental health for young children, where there was research into breathing exercises for children.
