Isli Islami rarely talks about his private life, but he makes sure that even when he shares personal details, he conveys a message to the public, whatever it may be.
In the quarterfinals of "Dancing with the stars", the moderator talked about his difficult childhood and his parents' divorce.
"I come from a family with two divorced parents and throughout my childhood I have witnessed violence that has been continuous, physical violence, psychological violence, abuse in all forms and divorce in my family has been one of the most good thing that happened."
Then he added:
"My mother, with whom I am very close, has managed to be the heroine of this whole situation. I've seen him grit his teeth in the face of pain, humiliation, embarrassment, boredom, disappointment, hurt, and I've seen him find a way to raise his head because of the love he had for us. "
"I hope that I will have them too, so that when I become a parent tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, my children will also see this in me: that despite the difficulties, they will succeed and say that we have gone through bad things, but here we are stronger," he emphasized.
And yet, apart from the difficulties of the past, Isli pointed out the importance of forgiveness, especially for the person who forgives.
"Forgive people who have done bad things to you. Forgive the people who have caused you pain, because I think there is nothing more beautiful and no greater liberation than to forgive and bless the person who may have caused you pain," he concluded.
