
The nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards have been announced, and Apple TV+ has drawn attention with two of its most successful productions:
1. "Severance" with 27 nominations, in the drama series category.
"The Studio" with 23 nominations, in the comedy category.
2. Both series have surpassed or tied the number of nominations that "The Bear" received in its third season in 2023 (23 nominations).
Meanwhile, HBO Max maintains its position as the network with the most nominations overall, with a whopping 142, thanks to successful productions such as:
1. “The Penguin”
2. “The White Lotus”
3. “The Last of Us”
4. “Hacks”

In the acting categories, legend Kathy Bates (in the series "Matlock") made history by becoming the oldest woman to win an Emmy Award for best actress in a drama series, at the age of 77.
As for miniseries, Netflix, which triumphed last year with "Baby Reindeer", returns as the favorite this time with another British production, "Adolescence", which competes against:
1. "The Penguin" (HBO Max)
2. “Dying for Sex” (FX)
3. "Black Mirror" (Netflix)
4. "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story" (Netflix)
The official awards ceremony will take place on September 14th and will be moderated by renowned comedian Nate Bargatze.
