To talk more about the song, he was invited to an interview by an Israeli journalist, known as Vardi, who asked him a question that irritated the Colombian singer to no end.
Vardi asked the singer about his attitude towards Qatar's history with human rights violations. The journalist also mentioned the decision of Shakira and Dua Lipa not to perform at the opening of the 2022 World Cup.
"Don't you have a problem with the violations of people's rights in this country?", the journalist asked Maluma, while the latter told him: "It is something that I cannot solve. I came here to enjoy my life, my football, my music. This is not something I want to be involved in."
Maluma got angry with the journalist and left, describing Vardi as "rude".
