The death of Mahsa Amini, who was brutally beaten at the hands of the police after not wearing the hijab properly, has sparked a series of violent protests in Iran.
The police continue to abuse girls and women and the latest case is that of Nika Shakarami, who has been missing since September 20 in Tehran.
Her family was notified of the girl's death 10 days later and the cause of death was precisely the inhuman violence of the security forces. After the family identified the body, they buried Nika in Khorramabad, but her body was stolen by the Iranian authorities, to be buried in Hayat Ol Gheyb.

Shakarami joined numerous protests in the country, for the death of Mahsa Amini, aiming to increase women's rights in Iran. She suddenly disappeared from the boulevard where she was protesting, after being kidnapped by Iranian forces.
After receiving no news from the girl, the family filed a missing person's report and began searching through police stations and hospitals. Also, he shared Nika's photos on social networks, hoping that someone would have news on him. Ten days later, the family was informed that a girl similar to Nika was found among the dead protesters.

The authorities informed the family that the girl had died as a result of falling from a building and showed them a photograph of the girl's lifeless body on a sidewalk, but the relatives were suspicious.

Meanwhile, the Iranian authorities have denied having a hand in the deaths of the girls who were brutally killed in the protests, by the "morality police".
