Getting married is one thing, but combining two families full of children is another. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are married, but they still live in two different homes.
Kardashian explained on the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast that the issue of separate homes is only happening because they're trying to make the move less painful for the kids.
"We're at the stage where we're figuring out how to blend our families and our children. At some point, our families will be one, in one house, but we don't want to rush until everyone is ready. We want our kids to feel really comfortable with every stage of change in their lives."
Kardashian has 3 children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick, Mason, Penelope and Reign. While Barke has two children, Landon and Alabama, from his relationship with Shanna Moakler.
"Luckily our houses are very close and there are nights where we spend long hours at each other's houses," Kourtney said.
