Kim Kardashian will be forced to pay a fine of 1.26 million dollars for advertising a crypto asset.
According to the experts of the American Security and Exchange Commission, the 41-year-old woman did not disclose the amount of 250,000 dollars that was given to her by the cryptocurrency firm "EthereumMax", in order to advertise the EMAX asset.
Kim published a post on Instagram in 2021 advertising EMAX, with a link to a website with instructions to buy the currency.

But Kim is not the only one who supported the new cryptocurrencies, which posed risks as they could not be traced. The Security and Exchange Commission stated that other punitive measures would also be taken against well-known personalities who have supported cryptocurrencies.
In addition to paying the fine, Kim agreed not to advertise any crypto assets for the next three years.
