A source, who chose to remain anonymous for security reasons, said Najafi was shot several times by Iranian police until he died. Another friend of hers said the girl's mother and sister were allowed to see the deceased on Friday morning to make sure they were burying the right person.
Najafi's mother said her daughter was killed because of her hijab. "She went to the protest and was killed, shot in the heart, stomach and neck. When we saw her body, her face and body were blackened," she said through tears.
Najafi died as a result of the demand for justice, after the macabre murder of Mahsa Amini, who was brutally beaten by the police, after she had not decided how to wear hijab. Police tried to cover up the crime, saying Amini died of a heart attack, despite the fact that the girl did not suffer from any heart disease, while eyewitnesses testified that the 22-year-old was raped inside a police van.
Police entered the school to arrest teenagers.

Iran's regime is losing to its people across the country and is resorting to desperate measures to create fear through pathetic shows of aggression. This is only going to enrage people and up their game against the regime. #????_????? pic.twitter.com/AdadtJKS6C
Since that day, Iran has been involved in numerous protests and a large number of women have burned their headscarves and cut their hair in protest and awareness for Iranian women. Many girls and women of all ages have been killed by the horrific aggression of the "morality police" in Iran.
