The aviation industry has faced continuous crises since the beginning of the pandemic until today, where chaotic situations have been reported in many airports as a result of the lack of staff. However, which ones have managed to maintain the standards and be rated as the best airlines in the world for this year?
Skytrax, an airline and airport rating and ranking platform, conducted more than 14 million customer surveys in more than 100 countries from September 2021 to August 2022 to discover the world's current favorite airline.
This year's winner is not an unknown name. Qatar Airways has won the top prize a total of seven times since the awards were introduced in 1999.
Qatar Airways group chief executive Akbar Al Baker thanked his "outstanding employees" for their "dedication and continued effort" and said "winning these awards in the same year as our 25th anniversary is even more rewarding".
