When we read about the life of Queen Elizabeth II, we clearly understand that she was an unforgettable and brilliant woman. A leader, a diplomat and a very smart woman who knew how to put an end to awkward situations without anyone realizing it.

According to Ian Scott Hunter, who worked alongside Elizabeth for 8 years, when the Queen simply wanted to signal to others that it was the right moment to leave, she used her lipstick. This secret code let visitors and ladies know that the queen wanted to escape from where she was.
"She had her bag in it, took out her lipstick and put it on, without using a mirror. This was a signal to the ladies that the queen was about to leave."
A similar technique was also used for official banquets and dinners. Historian Hugo Vickers told "People" that when she wanted to leave, the queen put her bag on the floor.
In the cases when he put it on the table, the signal was: a warning that in five minutes, they would run away.
Vickers added that Elizabeth also twirled her wedding ring around her finger to indicate that she wanted out of a certain environment.
