Kanye West, also known as Ye, after disappointments with the giant Adidas, has decided to work alone and no longer use a third company to present himself to the public.
In an interview for "Bloomberg", the artist says that it is the moment to "come alone". He admits that the companies he collaborates with bring him a lot of income and that together with them, he has introduced ideas that have revolutionized the fashion world forever, but “now it's time for Ye to create a new industry. "There will be no more companies standing between me and the public," said the rapper.
In June of this year, West openly expressed his displeasure with Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted, who, according to Kanye, had blatantly copied him. He shared his design of the Yeezy Slides and the Adilette 22 sandals and said there are a lot of similarities between them. Kanye was totally disappointed by this "theft", comparing his situation to Nikola Tesla. "It destroys innovation. This destroys creativity. This destroyed Nikola Tesla", said the artist.

He did the same with the Gap Inc brand, which he accused of holding a meeting for the rapper without his presence. He shared with followers footage of a boardroom screen in which he claimed Gap was copying a design introduced by Kanye.
However, Kanye still has a contract with Adidas, the brand that created the super-selling Yeezy Boost 350 sneaker. The contract expires in 2026. He also has another deal with Gap Inc., which expires in 2030.
But, as we said, now is the time for Ye to come all alone in this industry.
