Yesterday, Oliva Wilde said she turned Shia LaBeouf out of his role in "Don't Worry Darling" because the latter had a combative energy and the director's job is to make the production and cast feel safe. She cited the fact that Shia was a person who was accused of sexual violence and denigration, and this made her make the right decision.
After a few hours, Shia LaBeouf said it was totally his decision to give up the role.
Poor Shia sent Variety a tryout...and here's a video of Olivia asking Shia to reconsider his decision to leave the cast of Don't Worry Darling".

In the video, the film's director and actress says that she is not ready to give up yet, that she is heartbroken and that she is trying to find a solution.
She also appears to be aware of the tension between Shia Labeouf and Don't Worry Darling co-star Florence Pugh, saying: "If she commits with her mind and heart and you make peace - I respect your points of view, I respect that of Florence - but you can do it. What do you say? Is there any hope?".
