Ukraine extends the state of war for another 90 days
The Ukrainian parliament has decided to extend the state of war and general mobilization in the country for another 90 days.
"Ukraine has always wanted peace and has offered many times in various negotiating formats to the Russian leadership to end the war and liberate the Ukrainian land," said President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He added that Russia believes in terror and continues to believe "its propaganda illusions and hopes that it will achieve something through various forms of blackmail - but it will not".
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine must be defended and that the stronger it is, the weaker Russia will be and the war will last less.
