The fate of Kim Kardashian's heavily criticized legal drama, "All's Fair," is revealed

The defendant? Kim Kardashian's over-the-top legal drama, "All's Fair." The prosecution? Every critic in Hollywood. The verdict? The series will get a second season.
"All's Fair" is expected to begin filming for its second season in the spring of 2026, which means Kardashian and the rest of the cast have a short break before returning to the courtroom before the judging panel of public opinion.
Despite "scorching" reviews from critics and a miserable 3% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, "All's Fair" is back again.
(The series previously had a disastrous 0% rating, but it rose by three percentage points.)
Still, critics say what they will: the series is a huge success with viewers. In fact, it's one of Hulu's biggest hits to date.
“All's Fair” marked the biggest premiere of a Hulu Originals scripted series in the last three years, garnering 3.2 million views globally in its first three days on the platform.
The series follows Kardashian as Allura Grant, a powerful Los Angeles lawyer who faces scandals both in the courtroom and in her personal life while running an all-female divorce law firm.
The series also stars Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts and Teyana Taylor, produced by Ryan Murphy, the creator of "Glee" and "American Horror Story."
The criticisms have been harsh.
Angie Han from The Hollywood Reporter "burned" the series, writing:
"Kardashian's acting, stiff and expressionless, without any authentic note, is exactly what the writing deserves, equally stiff and without any authentic note."
David Mack of Slate compared Kardashian's acting to "a piece of drywall" and "a damn doll experiencing life for the first time."
However, Glenn Close defended Kardashian's work ethic in an interview with Variety, saying:
"What surprised me was Kim's seriousness. She was never late. She was always prepared. She didn't pretend to be a great actress, but she was smart enough to have people around her who she could learn from. If she had a big ego, I would have been unhappy, but she's not like that."
For her part, Kardashian equally mocked the critics by sharing the negative reviews and memes on Instagram, with the caption:
"Have you seen the most rated series of the year!?"
