Bennifer, they are officially husband and wife! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot at a Las Vegas chapel late Saturday night, taking their much-talked-about relationship one step further. Lopez broke the news of the marriage on Sunday in her fan newsletter, On the J Lo.
"Love is beautiful. Love is sweet. And it turns out that love is patient. Twenty years of patience," she writes.
"They were right when they said, 'all you need is love.' We are so grateful to have it in abundance, a wonderful new family with five wonderful children, and a life we ??have never had more reason to look forward to.”
Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, first dated in the early 2000s. They were engaged but never married, citing "too much media attention" in a statement announcing the nuptials would be postponed . Eventually, they broke up in January 2004.
Affleck married Jennifer Garner in 2005, with whom he has three children. They divorced in 2018. Lopez has been married three times before. She was briefly married to Ojani Noa from 1997-1998 and to Cris Judd from 2001-2003. She and singer Marc Anthony married in 2004 and separated after 1 decade. They have twins together, Emme and Maximilian.
